Nature Walks!

One thing I like about being at this park in lovely Medina is the nature walks! And walks by the river. So I thought I'd post a few pics of it ~ notice in the next to last picture how a new sycamore is growing out of an old fallen down cypress and in the last pic two cypresses which grew into each other! Luv!

Kitchen Before & After!

I had some pix posted on my old blog with the kitchen redos being done. Figured I'd post a before and after on this blog ~ and a pic of my rugs we laid ~

I added all different kind of knobs to my drawers ~ just whatever I found at the habitat store ~ for around 50 cents each! Also, I made the top cabinets into shelves ~ to display a few of my jars and other things. Still not done but here's some pics ~

My Project Of The Day!

Today, I redid this little shelf I had so I could put some of my coffee & tea cups in ~ very important when you're glamping ~ to make space for things in creative ways! So yeah, had picked up the free shelf out of a house that was being gutted. I did some painting on it, wallpapered background, put cup hooks, even decorated the back cuz it shows! Still not done ~ thinking of adding some beads! :)

Ceiling!

Ok, so the living area ceiling had to be redone ~ as you can see from the pictures. So here's some pix on it all and I'll be adding more cuz we're not done. Basically, we ripped what was there out, got wallpaper that looks like tin except it's white, and painted it copper....

Ok, so here's a little more that's been done to the ceiling. Still not done though.

Added a light fixture and put the vent cover on. Still more to do but so far ~

 

Stained Glass Door Window!

Well ~ the picture says it all. Not a real good pic but wanted to show what we decided to do to the window in the door to block the much much much sunlight that streams through. Now, just the right amount streams through :)

Computer Wall!

So this is the wall behind our computer...before and after pix! There's a friend of our's ~ Sharon Williams ~ and she was having a going out of business sale at her shop on all her fabrics! So, I bought a few different scraps and yards...but she also had fabric swatch books she said she'd give for free! So I said oh yeah! So I asked Matt if they could be pulled apart and he said you bet! So he pulled em' apart...I sat on the floor passing fabrics swatches to him as he got the handy dandy electric staple gun and stapled away!!! And the results are as follows...

  

New Outside Look!

So we've started on painting the outside~we've just painted a red stripe so far~ not sure we're gonna keep this color scheme or not~but for now, it works. So here's before and after outside pix.....more to come as we do more ~

Back...finally!

 Ok, so I lost my last blog somehow. Well, it's not lost~it's still out there~but I can't sign on to it to post anything. So...I'm starting over. Slowly but surely. This'll take some time so bear with me~
Let me start by posting the pic of our new (to us) Vintage 1977 Carriage Glamper! She needs some TLC and we're excited to be giving it to her! She is our gypsy glamper!!!
