Back To The Way It Was

Ok ~ so I'm taking this blog back to what I originally started bloggin' about on here ~ lol. Info about our vendor camper will be on TheGyPsYPeddlers facebook page. So that's where you'll find that. This blog however is goin' back to all about our lives as glampers! Woohooo!!!

Our first show ~ Lexington Texas!

Well ~ we did it! It was a lot of work but well worth it. So yeah, even if we didn't make a lot of $$$ and pretty much broke even, the job experience was a good thing! And the people we met was an even better thing! So I took a few pix from the first show. Enjoy.......

Wares ~ by Sharon Pustejovsky. Handmade shabby chic easter eggs. Handmade tassel curtain tie backs made with scrap fabric and old spools. Other items included old plates, stained glass window, & such!

Wares ~ by Janna Jackson. Here's lookin' at you pins and t-shirt collars! Shabby chic doggie jars and metal fruit. A shabby chic ombre painted basket!

Lookin' forward to our next show! Fredericksburg Trades Days ~ April 19th - 21st!!!

Random

Well, we have our first show coming up this w/end and it's exciting. So we're in rush mode on the Gypsy Rambler. I'll be posting pix of the first show and let everyone know how it went.
So just wanted to share some random pix.....
First, my camp ground transportation...got a new wire basket for my bike as you can see. Well, its not new, but new to me. Bought at a garage sale for $5. I think a good purchase indeed!

We painted over the red stripe on the camper we live in ~ her name btw is the Gypsy Carriage. Painted the stripe black

Eli's tree swing hung at our rv spot ~ donated by his grandpa ~ yay grandpa!

A birthday gift given from two friends here at the park ~ Robin & Melissa. It's gonna go great in the Gypsy Rambler! Love! And they brought cake and drinks and it was super nice! Also, my daughter and her boyfriend came out bearing gifts and good times! I was all smiles! And Meg bought me some adorable owl plaques! And some color therapy glasses! Love! She knows I need all the therapy I can get lately ~ lol

Well, that's all for now! =)

Dibs???

Found this.....whoever would like to use it to display their wares is welcome to it. First person to claim it gets to use it!

Shaggin' Wagon???

We've had tons of people stopping by our spot asking us what's goin' on with the little camper =) Funny stuff! I suppose we look like a couple of crazies! One guy asked "Is that the shaggin' wagon?" Oh boy ***rolling eyes***
Anyways ~ here's sum pix of the latest progress on The Gypsy Rambler!
The door........

Some inside shots...........

Upcycled floor - which will be covered by area rugs. Also a little "picket" fence to cover the tongue area - made out of pallets - not quite finished yet - by Matt

So let us know what ya think bout her so far!!!

Progress!

So I'm posting pix of the latest progress. Still of course not done...but we've come a long way baby! Yep...gettin' her done...gypsy style! Here's a few pix of the look of the walls, the back and front of the camper

Color Added!

So I added some color to the "flowers" and such. Matt painted the wheel red ~ didn't know if I'd like it, but I do! Also, Matt stripped the old, black, cracky, weather stripping lookin' trim stuff-haha-that was around the windows, stripe and such.
